Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes for Kit. She came through her surgery in great shape. The cancer had not spread so - no Chemo!!!!
We can both keep our hair.
I hadn't realized exactly how tense I was waiting for her surgery, but when we got the news from the doctor - it's like I could start breathing again.
I'll be posting again in a day or two.
I'll be continuing on my journey next week.

Good Morning Boots, I am so glad to hear that all went well. Give Kit my best and tell her to hang in there and give it time.
ReplyDeleteYou could always shave your head....cooler in the heat! So where do you go next????? Will you be cammping? I am wondering if the good life has softened you up or if you have been walking, other than the miles you have spent sight seeing. I got the post card, isnt that a pretty place, so peacefull. Did you check out the Music Museum...or is that for another time?
I have Majhong here tonight so I am scurrying around trying to shovel a path through the mess. I have been rowing as much as I can, and am even thinking of getting my own boat.....Who knows!
